Corey Magstadt – Executive Director
After graduating college with a degree in pastoral ministry, Corey helped begin The River Alliance Church in Chaska, MN. After serving there for 8 years, marrying Lori, having two children, and receiving a Masters of Divinity from Bethel Seminary, Corey is excited about the work being done with Launch Ministry. With a heart for the outcast and those that have been left out, Corey desires to see God do amazing things in the lives of homeless and struggling young people in this community.
Jason Rohman – Director of Men’s Program, Housing Program Case Manager, and Celebrate Recovery Organizer
After 6 years of teaching experience working exclusively with at-risk students, Jason decided, in 2010, to pursue ministry. Following a God-prompted desire to help young persons in need by sharing the love of Jesus, Jason enrolled in seminary courses and began the search for a ministry where mentorship is the focus. Jason has a deep desire to help build community and relationships. In addition to experiencing the love of Christ, Jason believes every emerging adult must see positive examples of male role-modeling in order to help shape his or her life as an independent adult. His interests include writing, performing, and recording Christian rock music, spending time with his daughter, and volunteering at his home church.
Stephanie Friant – Director of Women’s Program & Volunteer Coordinator
Stephanie joins Launch Ministry with a passion to help others on their unique life and spiritual journeys. With a Masters of Divinity and experience in the non-profit, corporate and ministry fields, she feels blessed to walk beside emerging adults as they pursue their goals. Originally from Michigan, Stephanie and her husband, Nick, have lived in Chanhassen since evacuating from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They enjoy raising their two children Carver County and are active in the community, with Stephanie on District 112’s La Academia PTO and Nick coaching the kids’ hockey CCHA teams.
(Please note I work 3/4 time with a flexible schedule.)
Dan Armstrong- Governing Board Chairman
With degrees in pastoral ministry, theology, and special education, and extensive experience in education and coffee shop ministry, Dan provides unique knowledge and perspective to the leadership team of Launch Ministry. Dan brings a passion for holistic transformation, which bridges connections between the heart and the head. Dan is interested in deep conversations over coffee, the arts and deep community.
Lori Magstadt – Systems Manager
From growing up in Hong Kong, China, to high school in Iowa, all the world has so far successfully survived her intensity and high spirits. Lori lives a life of extremes, from starting charter schools to the monotonous life of a stay-at-home mom. After six years of higher education, Lori has obtained degrees in teaching Elementary Education, ESL, and Christian Studies, with a minor in English Literature. Lori spends her days staring a databases for a curriculum company, developing curriculum and overseeing staff development at Cologne Academy, singing made up songs about interesting events in a seven-year-old girl’s life and looking up cool things like strep throat bacteria for a very inquisitive nine-year-old boy.
