A number of our volunteer positions include working directly with the young adults who receive services from Launch Ministry. These positions, such as mentoring, drop-in, and baby-holding, require us to ensure that the volunteers are a good fit for this ministry. Therefore these positions require the individuals complete a volunteer application, background check, and related orientation/training. While providing Tuesday night dinner can include serving and eating with our “clients”, these volunteers do not need to go through this process.
The background check can be submitted once you are certain you want to volunteer. An optional $12 donation will defray the cost to Launch Ministry for your background check.
